Bob’s Barbie is a tiny street food stand right outside the front gate of Hongik University and they have the best meat pies around! If you’ve been dying to have your shepherd’s pie then this is the place to get it! Just make sure you get there early enough, often the meat pies sell out well before the store is closed. If you aren’t able to get your hands on one of those though, their ‘black dog’ is quite good too and is recommended to try even if you were just going for the meat pies.

Cafe Aritaum is actually a pair of cafes located on both sides of the Yanghwa bridge (양화대교) overlooking the Han river on the east side of Seoul running between Hapjeong and Dangsan stations of subway line number 2. The cafe on the west side of the bridge is Cafe Aritaum Seonyu (선유) with its name written in English, and the one located on the east side is Cafe Aritaum Yanghwa (양화) which has its name written in Korean.
