Topokki, white rice cakes covered with red pepper paste sauce, cooked with vegetables, fish cake and other spices, and often topped with a hard boiled egg. It’s the most popular snack food in modern-day Korea that tourists should definitely try, just to say that you have stayed here.
The festival, the first of its kind, will take place at Yangjaedong AT Center in Seocho-gu, Seoul, featuring a World Tteokbokgi Cooking Contest, exhibitions of various tteokbokgi cooking utensils, family cooking, tteokbokgi parades with characters, B-boy performances and more.
