2010, ‘The most interesting festival in Korea, 4th Seoul World DJ Festival’

‘Audiences 0%, Participants 100%’ is the motto of World DJ Festival that the first outdoor DJ festival in the country. This festival received the 4^th in 2010. So we try to be established alternative culture festival, Which is able to make not only popularization of DJ culture also network of diverse culture.

In The Festival Village, a place that participants can become an ‘artist in the festival’, citizens meet artists with a highly individual style who perform in various kinds of fields, and communicate them through arts. Everyone can be an artist in The Festival Village by street performing of indie band that breathe with audiences, exhibitions of the arts by university students clubs, and experience programs, etc.

Also, DJ’s music resounded on the Mother Nature makes everyone unite into one and dance. This festival is more than just listening music. Every participant feel and express the music through their whole body! In the festival, there are no audiences because everyone is artists.

From people who become one by music and art to here 21c PRM, the citizen festival planners who participate in planning this festival before 5months! Many different kinds of groups and people gather and make a really distinctive almosphere in this festival. This would be possible with World DJ Festival People who respect and appreciate each other.

‘관객 0% 참여자 100%’을 지향하는 국내 최초 야외 DJ페스티벌. 월드디제이페스티벌은 2010년 4회를 맞아 DJ문화의 대중화와 더불어 다양한 문화의 네트워크가 가능한 대안문화축제로서 자리매김하고자 합니다.

참여자가 ‘축제 속 아티스트’가 될 수 있는 축제마을에서는, 다양한 분야에서 활동하는 개성 충만한 아티스트와 시민들이 예술로 소통하고 만납니다. 관객과 호흡하는 인디 밴드의 거리 연주. 각 대학 동아리의 작품전시 및 체험프로그램 등으로 누구든지 축제마을의 예술가가 될 수 있습니다.

또한 대자연 위로 울려 퍼지는 DJ음악 속에서는 모두가 하나 되어 춤을 추게 됩니다. 단순히 음악을 듣는 데에 그치지 않고, 온 몸으로 느끼고 표현하는 축제, 월드DJ페스티벌에서는 참여자 모두가 아티스트이기에 과객이란 없습니다.
